Bought this for my 6yr old sons birthday. He loves Mario Cart and Mario World. I have enjoyed playing with him as well. Neither one of us were gamers and we have enjoyed learning this system and games together.
He also loves being able to take the game pad downstairs to his room to watch Netflix.
